I heard a talk recently about how we are all seeking. We look for a house, use search engines, pursue knowledge, comparing and contrasting till we're blue in the face. We search for ways to relieve our worry and try to find happiness. It doesn't seem like this method is working, does it? Is it working for you? I'd like to know.
It's not about finding, but about becoming....
Consider becoming instead of seeking. When we shift our focus to the present, becoming who were created to be our perspective becomes clearer. Suddenly we aren't running an endless race of finding and seeking but living out our own rhythm of being. Our focus settles on what we have rather than our lack. We have enough for today because we are enough.
Our focus for September is 'Becoming'. I challenge you as your season shifts to allow your focus to shift as well, from seeking to becoming all that you are meant to be.
