"Buti" – is an indian Marathi word meaning “the cure to something kept hidden or secret”. BUTI Yoga takes yoga to a new level integrating tribal dancing, cardio, plyometrics and yoga asana. Caitlin found Barre during a time when she didn’t feel connected to her body, didn’t enjoy working out, and didn’t know what true self care looked like, physically or mentally.
After a year of barre classes and creating time in her week to connect both mind, body, soul and movement, Caitlin auditioned for the Mind Body Barre Instructor Training and became a certified MBB Instructor in August of 2016. Caitlin taught at the methods primary location until April of 2018 when she took on more classes and a Studio Manager role at Anchor Barre, in Taunton MA. In addition, Caitlin went on to certify in POUND, BUTI Yoga, HotCore, Sculpt, and Hot BUTI. Caitlin also completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in August of 2017.
Caitlin has continued her education as a yogi and fitness instructor through specialized methods, injury prevention trainings, and anatomy courses. Rooted in the belief that fitness is a feeling and stems from something much deeper than a good sweat sesh, Caitlin’s classes work to connect body and intuition. She promises a great workout but, more importantly, she holds space for you to take time out of your day to create some space for yourself, to reconnect, and to truly take time to take care of yourself.
