Botox & Letybo in Redlands
If you’re ready to refresh your look and learn whether neurotoxin treatments are right for you, our experienced team is here to help.
Frequently asked questions
Does it hurt?
Very little. The needle is extremely fine and each injection takes a second or two. Most people are surprised by how quick it is.
Will I look frozen?
Not if it’s dosed well. That look comes from too much product in the wrong places. We start conservatively and adjust at your two-week visit — it’s much easier to add than to undo.
How many units will I need?
It depends on the area, your muscle strength and what you’re after. Frown lines commonly take around 20 units. We’ll give you an exact number at your consultation before anything is injected, so there are no surprises.
How much does Botox cost in Redlands?
We price per unit, so your cost depends on the areas treated. See the pricing above, and we’ll confirm your total before we begin.
How often should I come in?
Most people return every three to four months. Coming in before your results fully wear off tends to give a more consistent look over time.
What should I avoid beforehand?
If possible, skip alcohol for 24 hours and avoid blood-thinning supplements like fish oil, vitamin E and ibuprofen for a few days — these reduce bruising. Never stop a prescribed medication without speaking to the provider who prescribed it.
Can I have this if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. We don’t treat during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Is this the same as filler?
No. Neuromodulators relax muscle to soften lines of expression. Fillers add volume to restore structure. They do different jobs and are often used together.
Smooth expression lines without changing your face
At Simply Wellness Concierge in Redlands, we offer Botox® and Letybo® — two FDA-approved injectable treatments that soften the lines that form from everyday expression.
Our approach is conservative by design. The goal is for you to look rested and like yourself, not frozen or done. We would rather start with less and add at your two-week follow-up than overcorrect and have you wait it out.
How it works
Every time you frown, squint or raise your eyebrows, the muscles underneath fold the skin above them. Over years, those folds become permanent lines that are visible even at rest. Botox and Letybo are neuromodulators. Injected in very small amounts into specific muscles, they temporarily reduce that muscle’s contraction. The skin above relaxes, existing lines soften, and new ones have a chance to stop deepening. The muscles around them keep working normally — which is why skilled placement matters far more than the product.
Areas we treat
•Frown lines between the brows, the vertical “11s”
•Forehead lines, the horizontal creases
•Crow’s feet at the outer corners of the eyes
During your consultation we’ll look at how your face actually moves and talk through what will and won’t help. Some lines respond beautifully. Others are better addressed another way, and we’ll tell you so.
What your appointment looks like
Treatment takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
The needle is very fine, and most people describe it as a quick pinch rather than pain. No numbing is usually needed. There’s no downtime — you can drive yourself home and return to your day.
We ask that you stay upright for about four hours afterward, skip strenuous exercise until the next day, and avoid rubbing the treated areas.
When you'll see results, and how long they last
You'll start noticing a change in two to four days, with the full effect at about two weeks.
Results typically last three to four months. That varies with the area treated, your dose and your own metabolism — some people find they stretch longer over time with consistent treatment.
Botox or Letybo — what’s the difference?
Both are botulinum toxin type A, and both are FDA approved.
Botox® Cosmetic has the longest track record of any neuromodulator and is approved for frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet.
Letybo® is newer to the US market, approved in 2024 for frown lines. It tends to take effect slightly faster, with comparable duration.
For most people the difference is minor, and we’ll recommend based on the area being treated and how you’ve responded before. Either way, the result depends far more on the injector than the bottle.
Botox $10/unit
Letybo $8/unit
